Expressions of Interest - Medical Laboratory Science Scopes of Practice Review

We are seeking expressions of interest to support the work of Te Kaunihera Pūtaiao Hauora o Aotearoa | The Medical Sciences Council (the Council).

Medical Laboratory Science Expert Advisory Group

The Council is about to review the Medical Laboratory Science scopes of practice. This may also include a review of the competence standards to ensure information is aligned.

We are seeking expert advice from the sector to ensure the gazetted scope reflects modern practice and ensures the safety of the public.

We now seek expressions of interest from registered medical laboratory science practitioners, to become part of an expert advisory group that will provide advice to the Council.
